Abanotubani Sulfur Baths
The brick domes of the famous hot sulfur baths, where Tbilisi was founded. Book a private room and soak in the warm mineral water after a day of walking.
Jumah Mosque
Tbilisi's historic mosque, known as a place where Sunni and Shia Muslims pray side by side. A peaceful stop in the heart of the old city.
Bridge of Peace
A curved glass-and-steel footbridge over the Mtkvari river. Beautiful in the evening when its lights come on.
Rustaveli Avenue & Mtatsminda
Tbilisi's main boulevard with its theatres, cafés and shops. From here the funicular climbs to Mtatsminda Park, with rides for kids and the highest view in town.
Dry Bridge Market
An open-air market of old coins, Soviet souvenirs, paintings and jewellery. Fun to browse, and bargaining is expected.
Jvari Monastery
A 6th-century church on a hilltop where two rivers meet. Part of the UNESCO-listed monuments of Mtskheta, and one of the best views in Georgia.
Svetitskhoveli Cathedral
An 11th-century cathedral in Georgia's old capital, surrounded by stone walls and small shops selling churchkhela and local crafts.
How a day with us looks
- 09:30 — Pickup from your hotel. Coffee stop if you need it.
- 10:00 — Walk through Old Tbilisi: the sulfur baths, the waterfall at Leghvtakhevi and the Jumah Mosque.
- 11:30 — Cable car up to Narikala Fortress for the best view of the city.
- 13:00 — Lunch. We know good places, including halal options.
- 14:30 — Drive to Mtskheta: Jvari Monastery on the hill, then Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in town.
- 18:00 — Back to your hotel, or dinner with a view on the way.
Good to know
- Wear comfortable shoes. Old Town streets are steep and cobbled.
- Private rooms at the sulfur baths are best booked a day ahead, especially on weekends. We can book for you.
- For churches, women are asked to cover their hair and wear a skirt. Wraps are usually available at the entrance.
- Halal restaurants are easy to find in Tbilisi. Just tell us and we will take you to one.
- Friday prayers are held at the Jumah Mosque in Old Town.
