This policy explains what personal data GeoVan | Nashmi Tours ("we", "us") collects through the website geo-van.com, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to delete it. It describes the site as it is actually built — nothing more.

GeoVan | Nashmi Tours is a private driver and tour service operating in Georgia. Trading name: GeoVan | Nashmi Tours. Identification number: 304790073. What we collect, and when
1. Enquiry and partner forms
If you submit an enquiry form on this site, we receive the fields you fill in: your e-mail address and phone number (required), and, where the form offers them, your name, company, areas of interest and any notes you write. We also record the first 200 characters of your browser user-agent string together with the submission, so we can tell genuine submissions from automated spam. These submissions are stored in Google Firestore (Firebase), a Google Cloud database. They are written to a collection that cannot be read back from the website.
2. Reviews
If you submit a review, the name and text you enter are stored in Google Firestore and are published publicly on this website. Please do not include anything in a review that you do not want to be public.
3. WhatsApp messages
Most bookings happen on WhatsApp. Several buttons and the trip planner on this site open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message; nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. Once you message us, the conversation is held in WhatsApp and is also governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy terms. We keep the trip details you send us for as long as needed to arrange and account for your trip.
4. The AI assistant
The site includes an AI travel assistant. The questions you type are relayed by our server to Google’s Gemini API and the answer is returned to you. Our server does not write your messages to a log or a file. Do not enter payment details, passport numbers or other sensitive personal data into the assistant.
5. Analytics and advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to count visits and understand which pages are useful. Analytics cookies are switched off by default and are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2, with analytics_storage denied until consent). Analytics data is pseudonymous: we see page views, country/region, device type and which buttons were clicked — not your name.
6. Server logs and third-party servers
Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser) for security and troubleshooting. Some parts of the page are loaded from third parties, which necessarily receive your IP address: Google Fonts, Google Tag Manager and Firebase (Google), the CookieYes consent banner, the Tailwind CSS library, the SSL site seal, and the open-meteo.com weather service. Why we are allowed to use it
- To answer you and arrange your trip — because you asked us to, and because it is necessary to perform the service you requested.
- To publish a review — because you chose to submit it for publication.
- To keep the site secure and working — our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse.
- Analytics — only on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. It is processed on our behalf by the service providers named above (Google, CookieYes, our hosting provider) and by the local drivers, hotels or partners needed to deliver a trip you have booked — and only the details those partners need. We may disclose data where the law of Georgia requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and booking correspondence: for as long as we are in contact plus the period we are required to retain business records. Published reviews: until you ask us to remove them. Analytics: according to the retention setting of our Google Analytics property. Server logs: as set by our hosting provider.
Your rights, including deletion
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to unpublish a review you submitted. Write to communications@geo-van.com with the subject line “Data request” and tell us which e-mail address, phone number or review name to look for. We will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your national data protection authority; if you are in Georgia, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.
Request deletion of your data
To have your enquiry, your review or both removed, e-mail communications@geo-van.com. Include the e-mail address or phone number you used, and say what you want deleted. No account or form is needed.
Children
This site is aimed at adults booking travel. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how the site handles data we will update this page and the date above.
